Anyone Going to HRP This Weekend?

I noticed they have the Friday and Sunday night public drags. I'm new to the area and have never been out there.

If someone was already planning to be there I was hoping to meet up with local DX enthusiasts. Even though I've only got about 2,600 miles on this bad boy, I'd like to see what it would do.

My work schedule often does change at a moment's notice so please don't make a special trip for my sake.

I will not be going to HRP but I will be at the Texas Motorplex in Ennis on
Sunday for the Texas Musclecar Club Challenge(www.tmccc.org).
We normally get 200 to 250 cars out for this event. It is a lot of fun competing
against other clubs(mopar,chevy,ford,pontiac,etc).
We do get a few cars that come from Houston. Ennis is probably 200 miles from Houston.

HRP sounds like fun, and the weather looks good..... but I leave for the SoCal meet in the morning.... so I'm out this time.
Make sure to drop a line next time you are going.... there are a few of us here and at lxforums that make the HRP trip on a regular basis....

Been to Ennis a few times. I used to live near the Tyler area. That track can be pretty knarly in warmer weather. Should be great for this weekend though. Cold air, lots of sun on the track, and low humidity will net great times. Have fun.
