Looking for a good dealer in the DFW area

I'm looking for info on which dealerships in the DFW area people have had good luck buying their 300s at. I'm looking to buy a Heritage Edition in the next 2 weeks. I had a not-so-great experience at Huffines in Lewisville today, so I'm looking for other options.

You are only 4 hours from Houston. Would you be interested in an SRT?

You should go for that deal Freebird linked to. I spoke to my dealership about those prices and he practically flipped. I had to show him the posts before he would believe me. Incredible savings!! Now is the time to pull the trigger!

I bought at Huffhines in Plano, and had a "mediocre" experience; in my opinion, your best bet once you decide what exactly you want is to call around and talk to the Fleet Sales or Internet Sales person, and ask them to give you a quote. That should be (theoretically) a rock-bottom, no haggle price.

It's also probably worth calling a few of the dealerships in the surrounding area; I'd gotten a quote from a dealer in Bonham that was pretty good, and included them bringing the car into Dallas for my inspection, and then delivering it to me after all of the papers were signed.

The biggest run-around I got from all of them was trying to jack me up for $1000 over the quote because I wasn't using Chrysler financing, even though I'd told them all up-front that I had my own financing (credit union) and wasn't interested in theirs.

Hope this helps, and best of luck!

- Chuck
