Texas Chrysler dealerships that you like

Guys/gals, I am looking to buy the upcoming SRT-8 this year. I am hoping for a summer delivery on it and have been talking to some local Austin dealerships. I cannot get a firm, in writing, qoute at MSRP on the vehicle at this time. If anyone in Texas has a dealership they know is willing to be fair with its customers and take a very fair MSRP bid on a new SRT-8, please e-mail me directly. The dealer can pretty much be anywhere in Texas, but Dallas, Houston, San Antonio and Austin are preferred areas due to drive time.

I'm not sure how much these will help but the menus are interactive. Both are from the same dealer. I can't say which ones are good or bad in San Antonio since I haven't picked up mine yet.

You may want to try working with Henson Sealy (Sealy, TX)...right out I-10 toward Columbus...worked with then for a looong time with a car on order...they are fair, keep you approsed of situations, etc...but they are a VERY small dealership and may experience allocation issues, etc. Ask for John Henson and tell him the guy with the Silver Hemi from Simonton sent you.

Thanks guys. Do either of you know how to find out who is the largest volume Chysler dealership in the state? I found 2 dealerships willing to sell at MSRP close by, but both guess they are not getting a SRT-8 for a long while(probably 2006 models and late in production).

It's a drive, but I bought my 300C in Houston from River Oaks Chrysler Jeep, now Helfman Chrysler Jeep. I dealt directly with Alan Helfman, great service, straight to the chase. The Helfman Family own quite a few dealerships and are one of the largest in the Area. Another place to check out (although I have not purchased from here) is Marshall in Hempstead (290 and HW 6). They are the largest Truck dealer for FOrd, Dodge and Chevy as well as sell Jeeps and Chryslers. They are another no haggle, straight forward dealer. Several collegues swear by them.

Hope that helps. Both dealerships will be happy to quote you over the phone as well as fax you copies so that you know you aren't getting the run around. (aledgedly anyway)
