Any SRT8's with Zoomers catbacks in DFW area?

After going to the SRT Track Experience last week-end and hearing several aftermarket exhausts, it's time for me to get it done. Loved the sound of the CORSAs on the Chargers at the Full Throttle Module.

After much reading here, Zoomers Catbacks seem to be another popular option. I like their clean look and supposedly they weigh 40 pounds less than stock or CORSAs. Does anyone in the DFW area have Zoomers so I can hear them?

My main issue is passing the WAT (Wife Approval Test) as she is not happy with my plans to change the exhaust - so I need something that sounds close to stock when she's nearby. I know I'll be needing an AIR HAMMER as well.

Hey Wez it was great meeting you in Dallas for the SRT TE recently. You guys are a great bunch up there. Lunch was fun on Saturday as well.

If I would have had my 300 up there you could have heard my Zoomers. I love them, low to no drone, but loud. I also have long tube headers and high flow cats on the 300, so it would have been louder than just a Zoomers alone. My 300 will not pass the WAT. The only aftermarket exhaust that has been WAT approved, by many members, who have wive's with sensitive ears, lol. Is the Corsa. Which you heard at the drag section of the SRT TE. When the red Charger was at idle or rolling to the line. You couldn't tell there was an difference from the stock sound. But when the light went green the Corsa came alive at WOT (Wide Open Throttle).

You heard the JBA on my Mag and the Cherry Bomb on SRTBEE's ride. You know those won't pass the WAT. The Cherry Bomb is suprisingly a low to no drone system as well. But it has a constant V8 rumble from start of the engine. That combined with a lot of systems having drone as well, usually get the thumbs down from the WAT. I am going to go with Cherry Bomb for the Bee as well. I am really loving Johns set up on his Bee.

Mark,
It was great to meet you and the rest of the forum members in person, it was a week-end to remember! So did you ever get around that pack of sport bikes last Sunday that were clogging up traffic on I-635E? I wish I could have been there if you did!

Did you install the headers and hiflo cats the same time as the Zoomers on your 300? I bet if all at once it made a LOUD improvement!

My wish would be the looks and weight of the Zoomers with the sounds of the CORSA - any ideas on what would get me close to that?

Good times by all over the weekend in Big D and the SRT TE. Which was so much fun. We didn't get around the pack, but stayed with them and trailed. The Viper that was rolling with us was filming and taking pics of the 3 or so riders staying back and pulling peg stand wheelies until they caught up with the rest of the bike pack. There must have been 20 or so sport bikes taking all the lanes of traffic, that was the icing in the cake of an already great SRT TE day. Then I headed due north to Detroit.

Did you install the headers and hiflo cats the same time as the Zoomers on your 300? I bet if all at once it made a LOUD improvement!
Yep, I went all or nothing with my first SRT. The 300SRT got alot of parts installed last year this time in prep for SF in Cali. There is no way to get all 3 of my SRT's ready like that for this years SF. But I am taking them out there, mods or no mods.

My wish would be the looks and weight of the Zoomers with the sounds of the CORSA - any ideas on what would get me close to that?
No. If you find that exhuast nirvana combination. Be sure to let me know as well. LOL. Talk to you soon.

See what I mean. The Corsa passes the WAT. 9 out of 10 wives give the Corsa exhaust the good housekeeping seal of apporval . It was also great meeting you as well. The newest member to the SRT club. Still had paper plates on your 3CSRT. Gotta love that
