FreebirdSRT and SRTBEE have informed me there is a car show that goes on every Saturday night up in Spring, TX in a Kroger's parking lot. There are lots of cars - classics, restores, replicas, new & old, etc... Both of them have been going for several weeks. Both of their LXs have been turning quite a few heads.
This would be a great way to start getting all the LXs of the greater Houston area active and organized. If you care to join us, here are the details:
Apparently you should try to be there by 6:15 at the latest. After that its hard to find a parking spot.
The address for the Kroger's is 8745 Spring Cypress Rd Spring, TX 77379 Google it for directions.
I live nearby so if you want, PM me for my phone number and you can call me if you get lost or need further directions.
FreebirdSRT and SRTBEE can provide further details as well.
Cool...I'll make it out that way to check it out one of these ole days. I'll coordinate with you guys first though to see if you're going that particular night.

It really is a nice time.. and great cars.. The "formal " show is held by
they rope off a large section of the pkg lot for cars 1979 and older....then other folks like us park in the immediate perimeter of the cones, etc and then it becomes a blended event where you can chk out the classic muscle , street cars, etc as well as use the location to meet up locally.
There are usually a block of mustangs, camaros,etc... so having some regular LX would be awesome..
this really is a friendly atmosphere..bring folding charirs, your dog, kids , whatever... usually run 6-about 9:30...Since we wouldn't be in the cones I recommend someone designates to shoot for like 5:45 to grab a section of spots,etc...
