August 25th - Beat the Heat Meet & Greet II - Houston
That's right folks, the mod meet & greet from July was such a hit, we're doing it again! Armadillo has been so kind (again) to let us use his indoor / air-conditioned marketplace for another mod install day.
We had 22 cars for the July event. We'd love to see 50 this time around!!!!
Date: August 25, 2007 Location: Armadillo Indoor Marketplace <--- click here for directions Time: 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
You've got plenty of time to start ordering mods. There will be tons of competent LX owners there to help you install anything and everything!
Everyone in the greater Houston area is encouraged to attend, even if you don't plan on modding anything! This is going to be a great opportunity to meet everyone on the forums! Our last few get togethers have been pretty hot sitting out in a parking lot. This one's going to be great - sitting inside in the A/C!!!! You definitely don't want to miss out on all the fun!
I am new here, but would love to come out, I just got my 300 3 weeks ago...
MG, welcome to the forum and congrats on your 300. Hang out here a while and you'll learn more than you ever thought possible. Check out our website (seen in my signature) and hope you can make it to the next Meet and Greet. it's always good to put a face to the people you see on the forum, and local events are a way to do that.
I would be remiss if I didn't say this....be sure to visit the New Member sub-forum and introduce yourself, and when you have enough posts, put up some pics of that new ride.
Maybe you could meet up w/ some of the SA folks and caravan over to Houston. Everyone's welcome to join in on the fun.
SA would be a stretch for him, Tracy. I'm in Austin, so if you want to come that way, let me know so we can caravan together. I'm sure there are others going as well.

Well, right now I dont have much to take pics of, just stock, but have custom black leather added... I have been a member of numerous car clubs and a bunch of forums, and after I sold my boosted 05 GTO, I told myself I was done with modding cars, yet here I am... I am looking at getting some Foose 20's for the car, I want 22's but since my fiance drives the car as well, I am going to go the safer route on that, but you never know... There is a few grilles that I like, and I want to throw some HID's in as well, other than that, I am going to do my best not to get too crazy...
