I hit my goal! 12.7's tonight!!!

I made a few runs last nite in my SRT MAgnum.
The best I could squeeze out of it was a 14.031.
Altitude 2700, cool 60 degree temps w/ a small dry burnout and ESP off. Sunroof open.
Ran in full auto mode, cause shifting myself had the thing cutting out between shifts, even though nowhere near redline.

Corrected that's about a 13.61 @103.2.
I thought it'd do better . Maybe it's time to do a few mods.

Hogan,

If you pull fuse 17 fromthe fuse box in the engine compartment you will get better burnouts and a much better 60 foot time. That should get you in the low 13's or 12's.

Isn't pulling the fuse the same as holding the ESP button down?

I mean holding it down till the display reads out "ESP DISABLED"...

XCIT, what have you done to your car to get those kind of times??? That is running in the same neighborhood as a Hennessey 500SRT package.. Impressive...

you've got to remember that Hennessey was running his car in 100 degree weather in Texas.......not to take anything away from XCITsNU's run, but outside temp. has ALOT to do with how the car runs........in addition to the fact that XCIT has VERY impressive reaction times..........

if Hennessey had the benefit of running in 50 degree temps, I'll bet he'd see some low 12's and probably some high 11's with the juice..........

either way, the SRT8 is a car to be reckoned with.............................
