Thumbs up Fast Times at (Irwindale) Ridgemont High (Moved)

Great time(s) at Irwindale last night!

With only 100,200+ (not so) gentle miles on the odometer, my beautiful Brilliant Black Crystal Pearlcoat 2006 300C SRT-8 FINALLY broke into the 7's last night in the 1/8th mile!!!

Mods include: GS Motorsports True Cold Air Intake, GSM Ported Polished Manifold, GSM Phenolic Spacers, Magnaflow High Flow Cats, Magnaflow Cat Back Exhaust, 180 Thermostat, GSM ESP/Fan Mod, GSM Transmission Control Module, Awesome CMR Tune from Scott at GSM, Nitto 275/40/20 NT555R Drag Radials.

EVIC Showed 50 degrees, although it felt colder. Irwindale uses a .500 tree

My first run was at 7:36 pm

First Pass: .523 Reaction Time, 1.865 60', 7.989 ET @ 90.08 mph

Second Pass: SUCKED. Waterboy added 50 gallons to the waterbox, so I spun, everyone after me spun, and one guy smacked the wall HARD!

Third Pass: 8:57 pm: .516 Reaction Time, 1.860 60'. 7.968 ET @ 89.76 mph.

Fourth Pass: Get Lost! They closed the lanes at 9:15 pm. Guess they wanted to go home early.

After seeing 8.07 two weeks ago, then 8.049 last week, I FINALLY broke into the 7's!!!

It wasn't very busy last night, I guess everyone else was Christmas shopping! There were a few other LX'x there last night including a NICE Charger SRT-8 (Black w/Silver Stripes) that we CMR Tuned yesterday. He picked up 15hp and 20tq and dropped 2/10ths in the 1/8th. He has pleased, to say the least.

Track is closed next two Thursdays due to the Holidays. I guess I'll see ya'll there next year!!! $20, Run what you brung!!!

Happy Holidays

Thumbs up Thanks

Thanks Pat!

How's life in the great white north? Or are you trying your luck south of the border again? (since it worked out so well for you last time, fellow "El Crasho")

El Crasho is snowbound in the middle of a fierce snow storm in Toronto -

Have to bundle up and roll out the Escape AWD just to go and get some groceries soon . . .
