So far:

2000 miles on my mid Dec05 build-date SRT 300C. Haven't been through all systems yet, but so far:

1. Driver window auto up consistently doesn't work. Passenger does. Neither intermittent, just consistent. Will ask dealer to fix next time I do a bomb run down Bouquet Canyon Road to get to him.

2. Slightly embarrassing brake squeal every once in a while when backing up the car cold with light brake pedal. Only backing up. No big deal. Same dust problem as everyone else.

3. Kicker was wired backwards. Swapped wires and heaven ensued. (thanks again to cbutler (Chris) for the "are you REALLY sure it's solder?" query).

4. Crop circles on rear window. Know there is a TSB (i.e. calcium carbonate) but haven't even tried to remove them yet. Will get around to it...minor issue...would rather drive the car!!!!

5. Rotors not scoring yet. I am very good to my brakes..but we will see as I rack more miles....

6. Car shifts 1-2 just like a manual shift in WOT from idle.....dead on a manual shift. (i.e. Zoom, waaaah, shift, Zoom...) Took it to local dealer (5 star and smart). He tried to do the flash ((07/21/05 … 0506 .. #18-031-05 …. Flash: Shift Hesitation During Wide Open Throttle 6.1L .. (SRT))) even though the build date is after the applicability date...(can't hurt trying). No go. The software noted the date differential and wouldn't let it go. I must have the equivalent or later version of the fix supplied by the flash. He noted I would just have to wait to see if another (and applicable) TSB came out. Not too stressed about this, as the car is faster than hell even with the pause. I will try manual shifts at lower rpm than the auto shift point (as noted in other posts) and see how it goes.

7. The accleration at ~4K RPM is incredible...just like my Kawi ZRX 1200....it "comes on the pipe" like a two stroke motocrosser at ~4K...I have NEVER felt a car do this, they have always had very linear and broad powerbands, but this one REALLY accelerates starting at ~4K and one better be holding on when it does. I am too busy passing everyone at redline in first gear to care much about the 1-2 shift delay!!!hahahahahaha!!!! Hell...I'm glad for the breather

8. Lost right front wheel cover during bomb run down Bouquet Canyon Road. Must be the centripetal force I imparted!!!!......The mustang never had a chance!!!!!!......ordered new caps at $14 a pop (four, incase I lose more:-). No big deal.

9. Developed a major sh**-eating grin driving this car which doesn't seem to go away. Highway 5 LA to Tracy and back was INCREDIBLE. 90+ (hypothetically, of course) mph smooooooooooooooooth the whole way, and this car doesn't feel the wind.

More as I go, fellow rippers....
James

#1 for me too....only 575 miles and it doesn't auto up Driver's side.

Passenger side does, feels like it doesn't catch like it should-cause I can feel the switch hit something, just doesn't stick.

Try windshield washer fluid on #4. Made mine disappear. The concentrated stuff, and a terry cloth.

Chris: When not on a lift, I use the time honored braille method for determining degree of inside rotor face wear: running my finger tip radially along it to feel the grooves. So far, the interiors of both are the "same" feel as the exteriors, and the lefts = the rights. Not bad, but seems to be a wee bit too much bump-grooving for only 2K miles. I'll keep watch and if they get worse have the dealer replace them.

Bearbacker42: I think my driver's window didn't autolift right out of the gate...I was just too busy driving the car and grinning like a maniac to notice. Obviously a warranty item which I will have replaced next time I go in to the dealer.

Ahbizmal; I'll try the conc ww fluid before I go the calcium carbonate TSB route...it is easier for starters....thanks for the tip!
