Did they ever fix your dash? I'm going in on Tuesday to take care of bad am/fm reception and I'm getting a rattle in the same area now that it's finally gotten cold here. I want them to look at it but the more info the better beforehand.

Thanks..

I had a dash rattle for some time, it could be heard on occasions on both sides of the dash.

Had it fixed last week, it is gone.

Service said it was from the sunroof, and the sound was traveling down the pillars and sounded as if it was from the dash.

I had what I thought was a dash rattle, turned out to be coming from the roof mounted sunglasses holder. Try removing your sunglasses before you do anything else.

One of my rattles came from a cassette sitting in the cassette player.
For a couple of weeks I was trying to locate the rattle. Sometimes it sounded like it came from the sunroof. Other times the passenger door. Then the glove compartment/dash.

My dash rattles as well... Sounds like it is coming from right above the glove compartment. I only hear this noise after my car has been sitting in a heated garage. Itt has been abou 10 degrees here and lower and when it sits outside, I never heard the dash rattle... Only happens when the car is warm. What gives? Any TSB on this yet? Some say pillar, some say sunglasses, others say cassetts... I say Chrysler TSB! Back to the shop for yet another noise complaint!

I had mine fixed a couple of weeks ago. I got to talking with the service manager about some other stuff and never even asked what they found. On the service ticket it says 'secure overhead console'.

No more rattle.

That is the same one I'm having. Going to take it to the dealer when I need an oil change and have them fix it. I hope.
