New SRT Owner taking the car in for TSB's - Question!?

Hello, I recently bought a used 2006 (build date Feb 06) 300C Srt8 with currently 5600 miles on it. The car has standard non slotted rotors, and really does not feel right to me at all. There is a bad hesitation almost like it doesn't want to move until u really step on the gas half to 3/4 throttle. When you are cruising at 45 then punch it, it picks up like it should.

I called the dealer and gave them the VIN they said the car had not been in for service accept for Oil change, and had no TSBs done at all. I asked him about the slotted rotors, and also about the tranny TSB and he said no prob he would do both for me.

Are there others I can note for him to check or will he be sure to check them all? Or what is the best way to handle this? I am taking my car tomorrow so any input you can give would help me out!!!

Thank you in advance

Sorry that nobody replied to you,

I have had the rotors, Tranny leak, Coolant, and 1-2 Shift TSB's Done and the car is running great

So, If you are not leaking tranny Fluid, and the Coolant does not look like Cottage cheese Or smell like death, then you are ok in my book. Plus the dealership. (At least mine) Will not due a TSB unless you are showing symptoms. I.E. My Tranny was leaking, therfore the fixed the O-Ring Issue.

Reset the FBW throttle module (whatever it's called).

If you search for throttle hesitation in general 300 discussions, you'll find it there. There was some contoversy as to weather it actually does anything and what's exactly the right way to do it, but I noticed an improvement resetting it.

As I recall the procedure (which worked)....

Turn the car on to the run position but do not start

Slowly and evenly press the throttle to the floor and back up. Generally, about 6-8 seconds down and the same back up. You do not need to hold it to the floor, just all the way down and back up smoothly.

Turn the key to the off position and wait about 15 seconds.

Go for a ride and test it out! If it didn't reset, repeat all above. The key parts as far as I can tell is to press the pedal down and up slowly and evenly and to wait a bit after turning the key off at the end.

Good luck!

I remember doing that in my c years ago reading that from this site! I did that today and feels pretty good! Of course the new exhaust and intake should have helped that LOL
