Left front tire worn out.....

My car just turned 40,000KMS and my front left tire is worn our around the outter edge. I know this is a alignment issue. But my question is this. This issue has been wearing for a while and this did not happen over night. Is it normal for the alignment to go out on this vehicle so fast. The daler is giving me a hard time for it. Any thoughts...

For me, 24k miles (40k kms)on a CHrysler is good for a tire. For some reason, Chrysler seems to wear the outside of all tires on most most models.. most lilkely their preference on camber and caster specs.

Heck, I have that at 13k miles (yes folks, I only have 13k miles after 2 years.. thanks to uncle Sam and Iraq )

This TSB is the revised allignment spec's for 05 & 06 models. Might be worth having your allignment checked out.

Is there an alignment TSB for the 2007 300C SRT8's or has this issue been addressed in the manufacturing specs of 2007 SRT8's?

I had a problem with a steering wheel vibration at 80mph, so i took it in to a local tire shop and they looked at the tires and they said that I had an alignment problem. I went to an alignment shop and sure enough it was toed in on both sides. By the way I only had 8500 miles on the car(2006 srt8). I got the alignment fixed, but I had to buy new front tires. I talked to the dealership where I bought the car and also to chrysler customer service and neither one would cover any of the costs. I called Goodyear and they would at least give me half off on the tires. I know of other people that have had similar issues and they actually got chrysler to pay for the alignment and new tires, I'm just not sure how they went about it. Good luck
