I did have the warranty transferred. Actually, I bought the car from a dealer and they did it for me.

Quoting from the Chrysler website, "The Powertrain Warrenty covers the cost of all parts and labor needed (less a $100 deductible per repair visit at the end of the 3 year/36,000 mile Basic Limited Warranty) to repair a defective powertrain component on your vehicle listed in section 2.2.1 below supplied by DamlierChrysler that is defective in workmanship, material or factory preparation."

The dealership just called and told me that my bill came to $89.90.

I just noticed trany fluid on my driveway yesterday. Though, I have an 06 Touring with 10,500 miles on it. I don't see an updated TSB that includes the 06 model. Everyone on this thread either has a C or SRT. Does anyone have any idea if a new TSB has been issued?

It happened to my 06 touring. The 3.5L has the same transmission as the C. More than likely its the connector.

The dealer called this morning and told me that the TSB (# 21-002-05) was an "old TSB" and no longer applied. Now they replace the entire "assembly", I assume he referring to the connector guide bushing. I will get more information regarding this when I pickup my car.

Because I bought my car used I am not completely verse with the 7-70 powertrain warranty. The dealer told me that the warranty has a $100 deductible, is this true?

I was told I have a $100 deductible to pay for the repairs to my leak, but the cost to fix the leak would be less than the deductible. I have to do some more research to make sure they are fixing the problem and not simply putting on a Band-Aid on it.

How much should it cost to fix the transmission leak?

I have owned this car for 3 months and its already been in the shop 3 times I love the car but I sure hope I didnt make a mistake buying a chrysler product.

Joining the crowd

Taking mine into the shop next Friday. Noticed a small puddle of tranny fluid in the driveway. Looked under the car and the tranny pan is wet. Looked up the TSB's and found the one for the dipstick tube seal. Called the dealer and they stated that it is commonly either the dipstick tube or some electrical connection that screws in the back. Good thing I am still under 36K. Funny thing is Chrysler is overly confident of the transmission as the owners manual states that regular fluid checks are not required which is why they don't include a dipstick. Must remember to use the Flashpaq and reset to stock before I take it in.

Had mine done about 4 months ago, they fixed it for nothing(The Dealer) said it was due to some cheap parts(O rings) they put in.

Cheap Parts................hummmm makes you wonder?
