Angry hard downshift into 1st. TSB? V6 2006

Sometimes when deaccelerating into 1st gear, transmission (torque converter?) goes into 1st hard. took vehicle to dealer. dealer drove the car 1 mile and could not find problem. (After a WHOLE mile!!!) If anyone knows of a tsb or even has any ideas please let me know. Thanks.

Hmm, no idea. My car shutters when it upshifts in 2nd. This is when it´s cold. Which transmission do you have? Is it already a 5geartranny?

Feeling with you

Christian
PS: How´d you know that he only drove it a mile? Did you watch the Odo or does the bill say it

There is an update that should fix the first gear shift. I notice on the new 2007's with 4 speed what it would do if your rolling to a stop very slowly, it would rev the engine automatically and downshift to 1st. Take it in and have them look at it.

I have the same problem in my 06 v6 300. Dealer did not notice anything when testing.
