Question Tranny O-Ring Trouble on "07s ???

Has anyone experienced the o-ring failure on 2007 300C's? Is this something I should expect to happen, or did Chrysler solve this by for the 07 model year?

Nope. Plenty of 07 leakers - just check out the numerous leak threads on here and other forums. Mine hasn't started - yet - I'm sure it's a matter of time. Not a matter of "if", but "when".

I never could understand why the most well known TSB and easy fix has still not been rectified at the transmission plant after all this time. This has been going on for over three years now. Apparently the fix is to use the MB O ring part. You'd think by now they would have changed the O rings.

I haven't heard of any 08's being affected, but I wouldn't be surprised if that'll come in the near future.

I have wondered EXACTLY the same thing. I just don't get it? Why can the dealers get the new part, but the factory cannot??
