$700 is more than a oil change and plugs.
I think the dealer charges about 1.5 hours for the spark plug change, or around $200 at around a $130 shop rate. Add another $50-$60 for plugs and you will be in the $260 range.
The $700 probably includes a bunch of other stuff like throttle body cleaning, and/or fuel injector cleaning. Dealers always try to sell these extra services.

Here ya go, but according to the service manual and the Maintenance Schedual B, you don't need to replace the plugs on the 2.7 or 3.5 till 100,000 miles. Same for the 6.1 for that matter. Looks like the only one that needs changing every 30,000 miles is the 5.7.
Thanks alot for the help Rambit.

Schedule "A" 30,000 miles or 30 months includes
change oil and oil filter
replace air filter
spark plugs on 5.7
rotate tires
check transmission fluid
check coolant level, hose, and clamps
inspect exhaust system
inspect brake hose
inspect CV joints and front and rear suspension compenents

which they do at any oil change place when getting an oil change... so i dont really see why i have to spend 700 for that...?

That is all you get for $700? Something isn't right.

My worse case SWAG is around $405.
I always use coupons and discounts I receive in the mail, so you can get it lower,

change oil and oil filter - $19.95 coupon + $10 hemi adder = $30
replace air filter - I think MSRP and tax is around $25, but I might be too low.
spark plugs on 5.7 - Maybe $5-per plug x 16 = $80
rotate tires - I never have dealer do this, but I estimate $30

I don't have a clue how long it takes to "inspect" these things.
My guess, no more than 30 minutes, so worse case around $60.
But I think some of these are free under the FREE 23 (or 16 point) point inspection. So these inspections should be zero cost, or very low.
check transmission fluid
check coolant level, hose, and clamps
inspect exhaust system
inspect brake hose
inspect CV joints and front and rear suspension compenents

Changing the plugs isn't listed, but I estimated 1.5 hours x $120 per hour = $180

Ok so i took my car today cause i was having them look at the rain sensor, and talked to 3 people about a 30K service. 2 techs and 1 service guy, of course the service guy said do it and the 1 tech shoock his head in a hell no! But then the other tech said after 30k they start doing weird things. He also said if i change the plugs make sure i use copper plugs not platinum. but at least a brake job is only 200 right? lol
