For sure do the spark plugs yourself. You'll save a TON of money and there's plenty of threads here about it. Others will chime in on this I'm betting!

What are the best plugs to use? also do i just need to change out the plugs or should i replace wires as well. What steps do i need to take to not mess up the timing.

Here ya go, but according to the service manual and the Maintenance Schedual B, you don't need to replace the plugs on the 2.7 or 3.5 till 100,000 miles. Same for the 6.1 for that matter. Looks like the only one that needs changing every 30,000 miles is the 5.7.

How's the car running? I changed the plugs on the 300c at 42k miles. At 42k miles the car was still starting and running just fine. There was no difference in performance prior to and after changing the plugs. At 42k miles it ran just as well as the Magnum HEMI next to it with only 10k miles.
