I thought the second press of the lock button disables the interior sensors?
I have locked mine with the boot ajar.... so maybe you did not have your boot shut properly and the thief noticed... opened the boot and took the clubs out... reached into the back seat area to push the back seats forward, then climbed through?
Is any of this a possibility?

The insurance company are now playing hardball after initially indicating they would meet the claim. Note that I am claiming on my house insurance for goods stolen away from home. They have asked me to:
- Get a written statement from Chrysler on how entry can be gained into a car without the alarm or damage being caused.
- Write a third account of what happened after initially giving them a statement, then a dictated statement.
- Access to Police incident details
- Itemised list with all receipts, when it was purchased, where etc.
- Full details of my car insurance.
- if I don't reply within 14 days they will assume that I no longer want to pursue and they will close the claim.

Is this normal I wonder having never claimed before? All in all not pleased with the company. I feel like a criminal. I will not renew. FYI the company is Prestige insurance via online company insure 4 retirement.

Flaming insurance companies!!! I was treated like a criminal for my injury claim, I ended up loosing the plot with one of there so called orthopedic specialists who said I have degenerative arthritis in my spine brought forward due to the impact. Funny how the hospital who done the mri scan said there was no degenerative condition when they looked at the same scan before him!

Regards

Simon
