Black B-pillar panels

Hi all

The black B-pillar panels on my CRD are fading - now more grey than black! Can anyone suggest anything to bring them back to a nice black finish?

Cheers
Peter

Try a bit of car polish, because they're smooth finished, they won't take on the white haze that the grained plastics do. I tried Auto Glym resin polish on mine, didn't come up too bad.

Thinking of putting the chrome trim on mine, just need to know if they are a good fit with smooth edges and no gaps??

Jim.

with the chrome pillars there is a small gap on the edge where the 3m tape is, the black gloss has a thinner backing tape

If Autogylm doesn't work, you can put matt finish vinyl wrap or even carbon wrap if you like

Just gave this stuff a try, and is the best result I've seen so far. And it's pretty good on the tyres too.

Hi

This what I did to mine, here is my post

Door Trims In Chrome

I got them from the

Chrysler 300c Chrome Window Pillar Trims

They where great for me and still stuck on (but not looking forward to trying to remove them in the future for whatever reason :-( but they went on really easy but just make sure you have them in the right position before adding pressure as sure they will be awful to get back off.
