I took mine out on the SRT8 in October for £337 inc protected no claims, £20 cheaper than I paid last December for my CRD.

EC gender equality rules come into force in December. This means that female drivers will see their premiums increase whilst male drivers should see reductions. Therefore, female drivers shouldn't delay any renewals coming in now, but male drivers might be better postponing, if possible.

My Direct Line renewal was £1250 (protected no claims). Full NCB, 37 yr old had licence 19 years (passed on my 18th Birthday). No Accidents / Claims / Convictions. Covered for 34000 miles per annum.

I live in a rubbish postcode area and as soon as you bump the mileage up I found they all want silly money.

Ouch! I'm in Northants and I paid less than 300 quid protected with all mods declared. Mileage is a lot less though.

£600 with the AA (My first year of ownership for crd, 20 years driving experience, NCD 5++ years) 6k miles/yr, London
Aviva quoted me double this amount and I have been their customer for many years. Still paying 30% less than Aviva's renewal quote for my 10 year old Omega, so I felt at the time I have got a good deal. But seeing the numbers here at half...Maybe London is on the expensive side.

There doesn't seem to be any rhyme nor reason to insurance premiums. Every year I ask Adrian Flux for a quote as I have another policy through them but the quote for the 300C is always silly money.
