There is a few downsides to cylinders in general.
1. Moving seal inside, allot shorter life span.
2. You are removing the shocks, you will never have the same ride quality/handling.
3. Air cylinders make noise.
4. Higher pressure to lift, less load cap.
5. Very sensitive to the elements.
6. Water/rust/debit damages seals inside cylinders.

The main advantages to cylinders in general.
1. Ease of install with right brackets
2. Lower cost for over seas cylinders
3. Fit inside smaller spaces (i.e. Honda's)

Typically general rule of thumb. If you can run an air bag definitely go with it. If the bag's will not fit you have to run air cylinders. Thats why no manufactures with O.E.M. Suspension run air cylinders, Yet, Several use air bags.

This is just cruisin height!! 48's in the front and 37's in the rear. On the highway it's 52's in the front and 50's in the rear.

I'm guessing your talking psi in each bag, as in your running a fbss system. I set mine up to just be front to back.

Dubster, I'm a little bit confused. If I run 48psi in the front, there is no way I would be able to turn the wheel. Are you talking about 48psi? Or am I missunderstanding? Just curious. The very lowest I can go in the front with out hitting the fender when turning is about 90psi. I can go as low as 40 in the rear, but it will defenetly hit the well at every bump. I only do 90 in front and 40 in the rear if I'm cruising through a parking lot at a car show or cruise night or something.

Dubster, have sandy's go in and change the settings in the gauge from the 145 senders to 400 psi senders.

Zack and U.A.S are the greatest. Zack has been very helpfull in getting me with my kit and with questions about how to's. I am in process of doing my install this week, the instructions are easy to understand. If I can do it any one can. Aloha Seth.....
