Goodbye Conti Self Seals, hello Goodyear

At long last the Conti's are gone. Good ridance to the scalloped edges and noise. Hello to the new Goodyear, Assurance, p225/60R18. These tires are great, the car rides better than it ever did, they are silent. Of course I don't know yet about snow but they seem perfect in every other way.
They are an 80,000 mile tire, which means they are made well, I would think.
The tire dealer had to get them from Akron as distributers don't seem to have them as yet. They come with a 30 day replacement warrantee but I don't think that will be necessary. I didn't really want to go the alternate size routine as I am kind of an "as built, as designed" type of person.
Thanks to II kings 9:20 for the tip regarding these Goodyears, the Conti's were really starting to errode my love for the "C", now I am even more pleased with the car.

That is great, I got mine rebalanced and they seem on target now. I'll really know how I like them with my upcomming road trip, so far I love them. Thanks to CDG for tipping me off.
