Anyone with 22's notice how close the tire is to the bolt in the upper a-arm? I'm guessing it less than an 1/8" away from the rubber.

A-arm bolt close!

Hey indycoder, that bolt is super close, in fact, if you look, it almost looks like it is rubbing, but is not. I dont care what anyone says, a 265/35/22 is the largest tire you can go without making a modification to your suspension set up. The good thing is that space will never get closer to your tire, no matter how much you lower it. If you take a good look at the geometry, that entire A-arm moves with the suspension travel, so the gap is always the same. I hope that helps.

Ya, I stood on the door well and bounced my petite 260 LBS ass on the car while my brother watched the wheel. It’s fixed there.

If you mean outside diameter you may be right, but as far as width is concerned a 285 will fit. See attached pics. Also on thread named "Ride quality with 22" or 20" wheels".

This is why we are here. To learn and see what others have done. The worse feeling is going in to buy a set of 22's and the dealers not sure. We're the first of a long list to follow, with the 300c. The dealer thinks it could, it might, it's possible, that's not for me. I want to go in and know I'm leaving the the best possible set up for my needs.
