Aspendog, I am curious as to why you went with 285/30/22 tires instead of the typical 265/35/22 tires? I also want to know if your 300 is lowered. Thanks.

I must say that I have been intrigued by all these 22" pictures, and I look at them as though I am searching for just the right one for my 300C, BUT, having just come off a Navigator with a terrible ride (rough, noisy), I LOVE the ride on my 300C, and as much as i'd like to change the wheels, I think I will wait until I am bored with the ride, and then get some wheels.

OR

I noticed the BAZO B52 22" wheels somewhere here, and notice they make a 19" version. There shouldn't be much "ride decay" in going from 18" to 19", should there?

I have 22" wheels on my Suburban and find the ride to be pretty good. There is more rubber between the road and wheel than there would be when using 22s on a C so I expect the ride to be firmer. For the people that have experienced these differences how much of a difference is there with the ride quality after you upgraded? I ran a set of 18" wheels on a '99 Z-28 convertible. They looked great but hitting a pothole was horrible! I cut at least 2 tires in a 6 month period.

Since putting my 22"s on my c I swear the ride is the same as before. Some have told me it feels exactly the same, although many on here swear im full of ****, however if its not the exact same as before its so close I cannot tell the difference, the only time I can tell a difference is on a really rough road-then I can feel more of the road in the steering wheel but thats it. We dont have many rough roads here. i believe its all in the tires and the quality of the rims, like I said before I have seen some people have 15+ ounces of weight on their rims....you'll never have a good ride with that much weight on them, and becuase the tires are so expensive alot of cheap people want to get cheap tires to save money, IMO you get what you pay for.

Does anyone know the name of the first wheel pic that I posted above (the smaller one)?

Thanks!

Thanks for the info. The person I spoke to said that the Carltons aren't available in 22s. They look that size in the picture though. I'm still going back and forth between the 20 or 22" size. I plan on ordering tomorrow so there is one more day to decide

Yes, that's me! We're now carrying products for the C6, Cadillac and various Dodge/Chrysler vehicles. GM axed the f-body a few years ago so it's time to fill in the gap.

I ended up going with 20" Carltons. They should be on the car in about 7-10 days.

2005 Silver 300C - it's home now!
2005 C6 Millennium Yellow Corvette convertible - on order

2002 Silverado HD - 8" lift + much more!
2002 Supercharged 8.1 Suburban - 13.93@ 95.79
