Hey Mikec909, nice ride. I'm planning on buying a 300c & put some personal touches. I like the way your car sits, wheels size & not too much gap between the tyre and wheels arches. What's the offset on your car? does it rub at all?

I believe talking to the salesman about it being a 15mm offset. As for the rubbing, first few weeks it was cool. Now I believe things are settling and I'm pretty positive I've got to roll the fenders etc. Tires touches the fender/liner when I hit bumps etc. Also other nite on the way to casino, first time I had 5 people in car, the rear was rubbing pretty rough when I hit some bumps. Still in the middle of figuring things out. =P

But I still gotta admit car sits real nice when it's still. lol

Hey Mike

I have got 22's 265/35's and want to lower my C, looking at some H & R's that will lower it 50 mm or 2 inches

but i am being told that it will rub the front guards and rip them apart when turning

do they need to adjust anything then to stop this happening ? i dont want to damage my guards as you can appreciate

I'm running same size tires, and I've never felt or heard any rubbing when turning. Even on full U-turns it does't hit. Heres a pix with the wheel turned all the way to the left. Close, but no contact.

And the result of 2in drop and aftermath of bouncing ( need to roll fenders for sure).

Hi Guys,

Im from the UK over the pond........

I do like the chrome rims you guys have but for us over here the weather is not very kind and so a non chrome rim is a better choice for me.

Here is a picture of a TSW rimm 22" with added "Bentley" centers, I hope you like em - I ordered a set

Ive only had the car a week so this is as it came from the factory at the mo.........

22" on basic 300

I had 265/25/22 on my ride for a while. I did get minor wearing on the front wheel wells, but it wasn't that bad of a ride.

prevent stolen wheels

Just a little tip for you guys and girls with car alarms. If you have an alarm installed leave out the L.E.D light. That just lets the thiefs know you have an alarm and believe me there are people who have no problam disabling them. The alarms with the key pod for arming and disarming can be learned by a pro and they will deactivate with the push of a button just like you do. Also some vehicles have a place where the key code is located. Nissan used to put them right in the glove box. Sometimes your paperwork from the dealer (when you buy) lists the key code. A pro will know which numbers these are and I can tell you for a couple of bucks it's not hard to find a locksmith to make a key. Now the thief simply opens the car and drives away. If you think it's hard to sync the new key to the ECM it can be done with a laptop and a little know how (of course available on the web). I used to repo for several banks and you would be amazed. If you are going to have an alarm, make it invisible hide a siren (not under the hood) power it from the car battery as well as a second hidden battery from an emergency exit light. You can find them at home depot with enough voltage and there small and waterproof (hint). I hope this helps save somebody's car or wheels.
