I have a question. I have an 05 300, base lx with the 2.7 (wifes car, but now my toy). I'm wanting to put 22's on it, and am looking to put 265/30's on it because they are almost the exact same 28" height. I would like to put 265/35's, but it's over an inch taller, and with this being the baby engine that's drive 90 miles round trip for work 5 days a week, I kinda don't know what to do. I don't want to lose any serious mileage, nor have her complain to me about power lose or ride quality. Any suggestions? I'd really appreciate it because in SW Missouri, no tire shops have any clue. All the rednecks around here just want to put 33X12.50's on it!

your car will be more sluggish and will loose about 50miles per tank.

50 miles per tank? Is that a guess or is that a real number? I didn't think it was that much? So basically 3mpg? Ouch. I wonder if a higher gear would make a big difference.....
22s and up look real nice but you would have to drive slow and carefull or youll crack your rim if your a daily driver stay with the 20s they nice and comfortable
i have an 08 lx with the tiny motor too, and i also have 22" wheels 35 series tires. i have had no significant loss in gas mileage and the ride is about the same as stock was. in my opinion, unless you live in a town where potholes look like crater, your rims wont crack.
