WITH A SET OF 265/35/22 OR 255/30/22 TIRES!

I would like to put 265/35's, but it's over an inch taller, and with this being the baby engine that's drive 90 miles round trip for work 5 days a week, I kinda don't know what to do. I don't want to lose any serious mileage, nor have her complain to me about power lose or ride quality. Any suggestions? I'd really appreciate it because in SW Missouri, no tire shops have any clue. All the rednecks around here just want to put 33X12.50's on it!

i have the same exact car and I have 22" w/ 265/35/22 tires. I will say that the gas mileage is about what what when traveling on expressway but you will see the difference riding to work in the city with alot of stops.. i have hankook performance tires and the ride is almost what what with the factory continental tire..

hope this helps

^^If the guy told you a 255/35 will mess up gas mileage or your car, he doesn't know **** so immediately find a new shop. A 255 would be as close to your stock diameter as you are going to get, and not only will not rub, but will steer better than the 265.

265/35 is run by many. I, like 3733H, will be running the toyo 255/35s. How much are you getting the 255/35's for?
