Difference b/w 265/35/22 and 265/30/22?

What is the difference between 265/35/22 and 265/30/22?

The reason why im asking is im about to buy 22x9.5 wheels with a 5" lip on front and back..i think the 265/35 look a little bit to thick so the wheels may look puny since the lip is 5 inches..what tires should i got with in this case?

Also I will be adding a universal air kit..wat would be the best tire with all these factors considered?

the 30 series tire, has a smaller sidewall! As for tire size issues, stick with the 35! And for air, try to pm Zack at Universal air..

First of all with a 22" wheels it will not look puny with a 30, 35 or even 40 series for trucks. They are 22", not a small wheel.

I have heard members say that with the 265/35/22 some have no rub issues, while other say they rub the A arm bolt, with the top of there tires.

I have 22x9.5 with 265/30/22 Hankook ventus ev1 tire. I have an SRT with a lowered suspension. I do not have any rubbing and do not hit the A arm bolt. But you have to be more careful riding around on those ballet shoes. My SRT is not a daily driver though.

BTW, what is a 300g? I saw that listed below your avatar.

I have a 265 35 22 kumho tire. I have 22x9.5 wheels with a positive 15 offset. With my 35 tire, it sits a tiny bit higher then a 30 series tire. You also have to be carefull on the offset of your wheel if you have or getting still. If you decide on U.A.S.{excellent company!!} p.m. Zack and give him your info, he's a GREAT guy!! I have to get my front fender lip shaved a bit in the front before it starts to curve, it is touching the tire when fully pancaked. I am ssoooooo excited I am picking up my car at 2PM!!!!!!!!!!
