Balancing issues with 22's. Need help

I am wondering if any of you running 22's are having issues with balancing. I have had my 22's on now for about 2 months and the shop I purchased them at (Les Shwabs) has rebalnced them 7 times. I am on my 3rd set of tires (Toyo Proxes) and 2 new wheels. I am getting sick of taking it back in. I am still having a good shake between 57 and 75 mph. They told me that no one is make a hubcentric ring for the 300C.

Anyone else having issues? Should I just expect a little shaking since they are 22's? Any help??

Thanks

Retainer clips removed during the new wheel install? That seemed the common link to others with problems similar to yours.

I had Les Schwab mount and balance my 22's. I did not buy the tires or wheels from them. Anyway, after having them mounted and balanced after a few days I did get a very sight shake starting around 75 mph. I decided to look at the wheels and and every wheel had lost all of the weights. You could still see the foam backing left on the wheel. I took them back and they said they only two of the wheels needed to be re balanced. I told how can that be with all of the weights gone on every wheel? The installer said we checked each wheel three times to make sure. I told them OK and the installer and myself went for a ride and it felt fine. The next weekend I was cleaning the car and noticed the foam was still left on the wheels. I cleaned it off so if I loose any more I will know it. They did tell me if I had any more problem to bring it back and they would fix it. They wanted to make me happy.

Also as Mr. Bulk said, check and see if the disk retainer clips are left on the the wheel studs. There should be two of them per each wheel. Take a screw drive and a pair of needle nose pliers and take them off. They will cause problems with after market wheels if you leave them on!

Get the tires ROAD-FORCED balanced. If that STILL doesn't help, you could get hub-centric rings, but that's only if your wheels has a gap between the hub spindle and the bore of the wheels.
