weigh 35lbs., huh? My Goodyear RT-S tires weigh in addition as follows:

245/45-20 for the front - 31lbs.
255/45-20 "run flat" for the rear - 33lbs.

Sorry, but those were weighed with only the bathroom scale. So, add the
wheel weight plus the tire weight = total weight. Coming in at just a lick
under 70 lbs. per corner. You ask, "how do they feel compared to the 47lb.
factory SE tire and wheel combination"? No different. But they look a crap load better.

Wow. 35lbs is a lot for a forged 20" rim.
I thought the SRT8 had forged rims which should be lighter than 35lbs. All the non-forged single piece cast 20" rims I weighed at wheel shops all weighed around 35lbs. I have forged 20" rims and they weigh 24lbs. Something doesn't seem right.

Edit to my comment above -
After further thought, some of the extra weight might be because the SRT8rims are 9" wide. My rims are 8.5" wide. Still, an extra 11lbs for an extra 1/2inch doesn't seem likely either.

Hey CrHemi. Soon, I am going to weigh the following wheels. Since I have 1,2 and 4. I will use those numbers to send back to USW for when they go to make a 20" forged. The goal is to make the 20" forged be lighter than the OEM SRT wheels.

1. 300SRT wheel with 245/45/20.

2. MagSRT wheel with 245/45/20.

3. ChargerSRT wheel with 245/45/20 (still waiting to hear if I can use).

4. The 22" Forged USW wheel with 265/30/22.

The last one is just so I know how much more the 22" I am running weigh against the OEM 20" SRT wheels. I want to know how much more weight I am adding to each corner with the 22" forged wheels Vs. the OEM 20" SRT wheels.

Thanks Hemiwagn . Is that 59lbs with a tire on the wheel or wheel alone? Was it a 245 or 255 /45/20?

59 lbs: that was the 245/45/20 F1 supercar tire factory installed on the stock Magnum SRT8 wheel.

I have heard from some members that the 20" 300 SRT wheel weighs less than the Magnum and Charger SRT wheels.

To ensure USW makes a light enough wheel. They would like to know the OEM weights of the 3 different SRT wheels. If someone knows the exact weight of the wheel, please let me know.

300CSRT OEM wheel weight=_______

MagnumSRT OEM wheel weight=_______

ChargerSRT OEM wheel weight=________

I also know that from reading other post's. The SRT wheels will gain 1 lb when you chrome them. Since the SRT wheel finish is already bare aluminum, there is not much weigh shaving when you strip down most wheels and chrome them.So if you chrome your SRT wheels you will be adding 1 lb to each wheel.
CSRT 8 wheel = 39 lbs with 245/45/20 Goodyear RSA tire.

How many miles on your tires? My Conti's were about 4lbs lighter after 13.5k miles.
If the tire weight is being subtracted to arrive at the rim weight, it matters how much tire wear has occurred.
