Thanks to II Kings for being a GY Assurance pioneer!
Admittedly at first I was not quite as impressed or happy about these tires...they seemed too soft, mushy, squirrely...however you want to describe it...
HOWEVER
I bumped the pressures up to 35 all around and having done so has made quite a difference...
The BIG feedback comes from several days of ongoing rain in the Houston area....THESE THINGS ROCK IN THE WET!!!!!
If anyone is still 'on the fence'...get off it and get a set!!!

I agree, jjs. My non-PGII 2006 300c, built 8/05, came with the GYs from the factory. After sighing with relief I didn't get Conti's, I was pleased with the ride and handling - until I bumped the PSI to 35 a couple of weeks ago and man, what a difference. Now it really feels like the sport sedan it's supposed to be running fast through the twistys. I do have one complaint: I'm getting some pretty serious belt seperation (wavy tread) in two of the tires causing "horizontal" vibrations (vs. the "vertical" vibration of unbalanced tires) noticable from about 65+ and getting pretty bad around 80 (my crusing speed, of course). I've had them "road force balanced" at my local tire shop and they explained it to me. The GY warranty for "road feel" expired at six months and I'm into my eighth month of ownership, bummer. Hopefully belt seperation is covered for a longer period. I'll be checking with the dealership on the next 3k service coming up soonish.

I agree, JGarten. Today I replaced the OEM Conti Self-Seals on the 05 300C at 18K miles. What a difference, with the Conti’s you felt every crack and pebble on the road to the point that screws were shaking loose. But the GYs step over the bad roads and are much quieter making the sound system much better. I probably should have changed tires sooner, but I hate throwing away rubber. One sidelight to the new GYs, the tire dealer tells me they can’t perform an alignment due to the slop in the tie rod ends. I’m going to blame the OEM Conti Self-Seals for slop in the tie rod ends and try to get the Chrysler dealer to make repairs.
Let me add my THANKS to II Kings for all the excellent information you have provide over the last two years also.

You wouldn't happen to have pic's of this problem, do you?

Thanks for the heads up II Kings, I'll get to it sooner than later. Sorry jjs, no pics. Probably would not be visible to the eye without motion. Spinning on the machine you could see maybe 3 or 4mm of wobble in the tread (mine were pretty bad). I may have thrown in the words "belt seperation" without really knowing what I'm talking about. The guys at the tire shop (I spoke with the manager and the tech) didn't seem to get too excited about it. They didn't try to sell me any tires! In fact their comments were like "no tire/rim combination is perfect" and mine were a just worse then usual. They threw around some numbers related to how true the rim and tire were in relation to each other with teens to low twentys being "normal" (mine were in the high fortys I think). They have a "road force" tire balancer which allows them to, among other things, measure and mark the maximum run out of the rim and tire then they break down the wheel and rotate the tire into the best possible position on the rim. After turning the tire on the rim, the wobble was reduced, but not eliminated. I'll definitely be bringing all this to the dealer's attention, but I don't think it's an emergency. You know how sensitive these cars are - you can feel EVERYTHING in or on the road including imperfect tires.

yeah, i got the 05 goodyear assurrances right b4 the bad weather got here in february... best buy... 100,000 mile tires... i instantly felt the difference as well... i'm still on the 18" stock for C... everyone thinks they are 20s with the goodyears on tho, and i clean the rims and tires daily... i'll post pic of that if u want... i've been lazy with my camera... take more pics of my real baby than my hemi baby heh...
soooo, any knowledge about 22"s being a better ride than 20"s anyone? mine originally came from the dealer with 20" pirelli's on it and some horrid looking rims... i loved the tire, but the rims had to go... then, i took it for a test drive, and i said, "would u please put the stocks back on..." i felt EVERY BUMP, PEBBLE, STONE, and ROCK on the road...
i may be starting my own thread about this if i don't hear back...
