The new Nitto INVO *might* do the trick. The website is a bit weak on detailed specs for the tire, but it is their new ultra high performance flagship tire. Definitely summer only and NOT for SUVs.
and get this, not all the sizes are released but the website says it will come in:
245/45/20
255/45/20
and 275/40/20 - which is the same diameter as 245/45 btw
about the website http://www.nittotire.com/tires_invo.asp
if you click on sizes and specs from above you will only see the 255/45 size. BUT
if you click on 'experience the invo' THEN click on tire sizes you will see all 3 above.
Can't wait until I wear my F1's out.
As teahead has mentioned, Toyo Proxes4 come in 245/45/20 and 275/40/20 as well. To date those are the only matched staggered tires in the with the stock front 245/45/20 size.
If you don't want to go with the exact front tire size. I have seen on a few LX's. 275/35/20x9 F and 295/40/20x10.5 R The rear is a tight fit but no rubbing.

Nitto's are junk, imo. I had Michelin's on my Accura and when I repalced them I was told to go to Nittos. I did and regretted every minute of it. I have not tried their new design, but the rubber they use is no where near Michelin standard.

Good luck.
Was it a Max Performance Tire? It would be nice to know which model you had rather than generalize all tire models. Not even over priced Michelin makes a superior tire in every model they make. I run NT555 on the rear of my E55 and they stick good with all forward motion and traction. E55 has a hard time breaking them loose or making them squeal.
