Question Has anyone had experience with these?

I was looking for an all season replacement for my RSA's.

the Avon's that they list on Tire rack are #1 in their class, but the speed rating is only WR 168MPH. I rarely drive 171, unless I get the chance to make it to the Autobahn.

Any thoughts?

FWIW I replaced runflat RSA's on my MINI Cooper S with these same Avons. My experience was that the Avons were quieter and better riding (of course, not runflats) but the car developed understeer and they were not as good in rain or snow-the exact opposite of the claims in the reviews. Made me wonder if Avon's staff wrote all those reviews. You will probably see my review there for the MINI application. I have not put a lot of miles on so I can;t comment on the tread life. Given my personal experience, I would not use these instead of RSA's for an all-season application, the SRT-8 with RSA's is already very squirrely on wet pavement and weak in snow, unless you just want to save some $$.

You lucky guy!

should have done a search on Avon first. Also see this thread:
