If you have a lowered suspenion did you have to roller your rear fenders?
I have the KW V2 with 295/30 rear tires and when the car leans out in a turn the rears are rubbing hard on the fender. Should I roll the fenders or trim them, or raise the car? I really don't want to raise the car because I love the stance that it has right now.
I just bought fastmax1's 22" GSM Intros with Michelin PS2 tires, 265/30-22 front and 295/30-22 rears. I have the KW VarII setup, but have not had the chance to install it yet... however, I know fastmax also was running KW's and I never heard of any rubbing problems.
Freakyshiat also has this wheel/tire setup and I have not heard of any rubbing problems with his car either.
I do not know the offset of the Intros, so your rims might be pushing the rears outward more.
When you get a chance to measure the offset, PM me and I will do the same. The wheels are now off the car so it will be relatively easy for me to do this.
Your wheels look great on that bad-ass SRT8 on-fire!
So I guess that the only thing I can do short of buying different tires or raising the car (neither of which I want to do) is to roll the fenders so that the tires don't rub.
Tork - Let me know what you come up with once your car is lowered. I have an aggresive stance with mine using the KW V2. I plan on rolling the fenders this weekend to eliminate the rubbing issue. If that doesn't totally work then I am going to have to stiffen the rear shocks and raise the rear.
