Bolt pattern re-drilling question...

Ok here is the deal. I am getting a real good deal on some set of rims that I believe have a Chevy Impala 94-97 bolt pattern or BMW 745 bolt pattern from what I was told not sure which one. My question is, is it worth re-drilling the rims to the correct bolt pattern to fit my 300? Anyone had this done before and have had any bad experiences with this? What do you recommend?

Do a search for this, was just a recent discussion and I believe the general idea was not to do it

I wouldn't because technically you have to fill in the old bolt pattern holes, then drill out the new ones, it'll be EXTREMELY unsafe, I would think. I would NEVER EVER EVER do it......imo good luck.
