At $2K a pop, nice, but pricey. There's a lot more I could do with $8K. I just bought another motorcycle, and I paid $15K for it. That's about half of it; and I can ride my GL 1800 Goldwing.

i dunno, maybe im starting to get older and think about practicality or something...but after driving down around for 15 minutes, wouldn't the inner side of the clear rim be black from brake dust?!@$!

maybe a hubless wheel like the bike builders do is the next step....

I will be posting more pictures of the clear wheel, after I download all the SEMA pics and organize them.

Funny you mention the bike builders. They had a bike on display in the same booth as the clear wheel on the white MercBenz and if I was ever to get these wheels they look 100 times better on a bike (see through, gives hubless look), easier to clean. Only $4K (2 wheels) instead of $8K (4 wheels) LOL.

To bad the bike was a chopper, I would like to see these wheels on a sport bike.

It's obvious, those rims are for a car that is not driven on the street. Car shows only. For Trailer Queens. Also, it is a moot point mentioning what else one can do with the money. That just means you can't afford them nor do you have a custom car hitting the car show circuit. Those are not everyone.
