They replaced your wheels and TIRES? How did you get them to replace the tires? I had severe cupping on my 2 front tires and they would not replace.

My 5 star dealer also is replacing my wheels AND TIRES (all 4)!!! I had severe cupping at 11,000 miles! I have an appointment tomorrow to have the wheels and tires put on my car...I would print off some of these posts and take them to your dealer and insist something be done! Luckily, my service manager took one look at my tires (and rims) and said they would be replaced...I am not thrilled they are putting Conti's back on, but whenever new tires have to come out of my pocket, you had better believe I will be putting something else on besides Conti's. I am also asking them to triple check the alignment and suspension to make sure this doesn't happen again...

My wheel replacement was just approved as well. What really begs the question is whether or not the issue has been addressed? I really don't want to deal with this next May again. Has anyone confirmed whether or not its been fixed? Also I wonder what is happening to all the wheels that have been replaced? I heard that they are being refurbished, if that is the case I wonder whoose wheels I'll be getting? If anyone knows for sure one way or another then it would be nice.

Mikey, I read the post, (thank you) but does that mean that since they are going to order my new wheels that they will wait for the new design? Seems to me that if they are not, then lots of people will be repeating this process down the road again. I hope Chrysler does the right thing.

My wheels are getting replaced this Friday. I don't believe the re-designed wheels will look different then the current C wheels. The re-design is under the cladding. I also suspect that the wheels we are receiving now are re-designed.

Blankster, I have exactly the same information.

The cladding for all the new 300C's is done by a supplier in Windsor, Ontario. When the problem first occurred, DCX pushed it back onto the supplier. The supplier was originally going to buff out the bad wheels and recoat them (bad idea).

Saner heads prevailed and the supplier is sending out new wheels with the cladding attachment re-engineered. That is what I received 1 month ago.

MikeyJohn, I see no point in waiting as DCX are shipping out the replacements now under warranty. And - if they pit next year, they'll replace them again, so I am told.
