I Have A Hole In One Of My Wheels So Deep I Can Put The Tip Of My Pinky In It. I Would Be Very Happy With The R/t Wheels.

Gang,
I guess that I am just lucky to have a good dealer that feels that he would like to maybe sell me more cars and services sometime in the future. Your dealer knows that research shows you are worth over $300K to him or any other dealer. So he knows its in his best interest that he keeps you happy. You may want to point that out to him/her.

HH,
If he is still telling you this BS then his service manager is an A-Hole he does not need an OK from DC to get you the new wheels. He can act on his own and don't let him tell you otherwise. Go to the General Manager or the owner and tell him/her your worth over 300K to them and you want some results now and not later. If that does not get you any where go find a dealer that will help you. One thing you have to remember is that its all good money to the dealer. He does not lose a dime.

Just got back home from speaking with my friendly neighborhood chrysler dealer. I did not mess around and went straight to the general manager about my wheels. I advised him of all the other owners, that I have read about in these forums, and how they are being treated. He insisted that he has to wait until DC gives him the money for an exchange.

I'm tired of waiting around so I inquired about giving me a set of Magnum R/T wheels. This guy is also a Dodge dealer and has about 6 to 8 R/Ts sitting around with 20 inch zinik wheels. He did not even want to give me those.

I went on to say that I will take my business elsewhere if he will not help me. He then replied "At least give them a call". I do believe my jaw hit the floor and drug behind me on the way out. Don't go to Gurly Leep in South Bend, Indiana.

I did not know mine had the pitting until I did the hand wash yesterday. You have to wonder if Ralph Giles has this on his car. As I have said before, did these guys not test the car before bringing it to market. Why get a new set of wheels when they will pit too.

Just hand washed my C yesterday for the first time this season, and am shagrinned to see the same thing. I washed my car weekly during the winter and put a protectant on the wheels last fall. I am printing all this out and taking it into the DLR.

My service manager told me today that my new wheels are on their way.

I'll keep everyone informed.
