Pleeeeeeze!!! Help me choose

2005 Cool Vanilla 300C

Need wheel/tire combo, currently riding on stock 18 with Goodyear comfort.

I'm thinking 20, but that's about all. I cannot seem to come up with
a choice, my head is spinning. I've searched and seen good examples,
but maybe we don't have the same wheel shops in Illinois that
some of you guys on the coasts.

I'm totally lost at this stuff. While I can help with stereo, I've never
bought aftermarket wheels for ANY car I've had.

Where on earth are you guys finding these beautiful wheels?

One of the best places to start is SuperBuyTires.com

You can narrow it down by size, color, and most importantly PRICE RANGE. hehe
Are you wanting Chrome, black/chrome, color matched, etc...?
Spoky, blade, spinner, etc...?

The internet is your friend

Ok, that was part of my problem. I'd see brands mentioned but didn't have a site that had all of them where I could compare.

Now I need help in that I don't want to have 2 sets (1 winter, 1 summer).

I'm willing to compromise finishes to accomplish this. Anyone have any advice for an all-season wheel (ie if I went chrome plated, would it
survive Illinois winter)?

Thanks.

Won't salt and the chemicals used on the roads eat away at chrome? Maybe if you cleaned them everything night it would help. I dunno. I live in TX where salt on roads occurs from littering salt package from McDonald's rather than ice/snow so I'm of no use to you on that issue. hehe

Found some wheels I like there:

Zinik Brescia
Dvinci P Ziente
Verde Madonna

But need to find out about chrome and winter if it's a good mix.

The Dvinci rim is nice. I'm a little bias towards Dvinci. Pricewise the Verde rim would be the best choice. It all depends on what you want and how much you want to spend.

Mazda,

Thanks for the offer. I've been given orders by my other half to
to stay with 20s.

Try looking up various wheel sites, it should be a good start on looking for the style you want.

Maybe like Wheel warehouse is a start.

I have found that these guys have the best prices. I am going to be ordering a set of Asanti's and Toyo 4's - 20's tomorrow. Mention Brad if you give him a call ( I am not affiliated with this company) Great customer service and prices !
