AWD PSI for Conti 4x4 Tires

I had a bubble form in my driver's side front tire, so I picked up a new one off tire rack and had it installed today. When I picked up my car, the tech had inflated the new tire to 45 psi. He insisted I should run 45 psi all around on the stock Conti's, despite the sticker on the door that reads 30 psi all around for the AWD C. Those of you with the AWD C's, what PSI are you running in your tires? I know PSI has been discussed to death, but I didn't find anything specific in my searches about AWD Conti 4x4 tire PSI. Also, the tech said I should speak to Chrysler/Continental about the busted tire, since I got a bubble in it and it only had 6k miles of use on it. He said being it weared very prematurely, they should offer to pay for the new tire and mounting/balancing of it. I know they don't normally warranty tires against road hazards, but anybody have any experience with something like this? any recommendations? maybe I can end up with a free tire after all? thanks!

I've got a 06 300C AWD with 20K on the original Conti 4x4's. Tried to run them at 35psi since new and they seem to be wearing a little more in the middle. I do rotate every 6K as the front ones wear (feather) on the inside and the rears do the same on the outside. Dealer says the alignment is fine and that is a characteristic of the C AWD. The 4x4 Contis are a pretty sorry excuse for a tire. Not my problem much longer...the car and tires are going down the road in a couple of weeks.
