Fixing scratches and curb marks on rims

Is there a place on the East Coast (somewhere near Brooklyn) that fixes scratches and curb marks on aftermarket chrome rims?

The only folks I've ever heard of were on the west coast Do you think they can fix the curb rash w/o re-chroming the entire wheel?

Check the thread above I started sometime back. I found a replacement wheel on ebay for cheap. I gave up on the repair option. My efforts resulted in purchasing the wheel on ebay was cheaper.
