I'm not a wheel guy but I have been told that the shop will need to add spacers, maybe some filing and restrenthen to the control arm to make the wheels fit. Go to a wheel shop and they should be able to figure this stuff out for you. Good luck!

Just my 2 cents from over 40 years of modifying performance cars. Do not ever use spacers to make a wheel fit.

As to the 300CAWD - it's just not a candidate for 22" wheels. You need to be an expert (or have the work done by one) on 4X4 suspensions and brakes to avoid major safety, handling and warranty hassles.

Aftermarket Wheel companies are famous for telling customers what they want to hear. With the Mercedes AWD system on the 300, only listen to a brake and suspension expert who is familiar with this car.

Cirob - had the new wheels put on my 300C AWD today, here are the pics ... wheels are Zinik Kahn's with Nitto 420S ... I decided against my original rim choice, which were the Adrians. Love the ride (only 50 miles so far) ... let me know your thoughts.

Rizzo looks real nice looks like it filled the wheel openings real good. I take it the rims are a direct bolt on. What size are the tires 245x? or 255x?x20. Let me know thanks again.

The car looks like its "waiting for a flood" ... as if it pulled up the bottoms of its pants to keep from getting wet.

to put it another way: its riding on fancy-looking temporary spares.. you know.. pizza cutters.

bottom line: wheelwell gap is still too big. I wonder who the genius at DCX was that ruined the AWD form factor of the 300C behind everyone's back..

Well, growing up poor, I had to wear my pants well past their useful life, so I was always picked on for having "high waters" on, guess now that I can more well afford things, I'm regressing to my childhood through my car (must be a Freudian thing) ... LOL

good one :-), nice pics, strange to see those comments from bozos trying to justify their decision not to invest the extra few dollars for this amazing AWD model
