Anybody running 255/35 20's?

As the title says is there anyone running this tire on their 300's?

If so, how's the handling with the thinner sidewall?

Any issues at all?

And if you don't have this size tire you can talk smack all you want!

cheers

The 255/35R20 (27.0" tall) is quite a bit shorter than the 245/45R20 (28.7 tall)
This will affect your speedometer accuacy, which is not insurmountable.

More importantly this shorter tire does not have the same load carrying capacity as the OE tire.
The OE tire has a load rating of 99Y which carries a maximum of 1709lbs per tire at it's maximum inflation pressure. Meanwhile the 255/35R20 in a SL, or standard load, rating carries just 1433lbs.
An XL, or extra load, rated tire in the same size offers a bit more load carrying capcity (1609lbs) but again only at the maximum inflation pressure which may stiffen the ride and this is still less then the OE tire.

I would suggest that you check tire placard on your door jamb for your GAWR before making this kind of deciion.
