300 Base 2.7 w/22's

Hey guy's, I'm a newbie and thinking about getting a 300 and wanted to get some feeback about putting 22's on a 2.7.
I know putting them on the other 300's it would be no problem but there's a dealer in town knocking off about 6k off and it's tempting to get one, but dont want to regret it later. Dont want it running like a 4 banger when i put 22's on it.
But for those who do have the 2.7 w/22's how's the accelaration and gas milage on it? Is it really sluggish?
Thanks in advace fella's.

I have a 2.7liter and I have 24" with 255/30/24 and I have no problem... Gas mileage did go down a bit but that happens to any car that you add wheels to... As far as riding like a 4 banger you loose a little power but your not gonna drive fast since you have wheels anyway but I have no problem accelarating though...

i also have a 2.7 on 22s, and i didnt notice much of a change, a little gas milage drop, but nothing too complain about. and like jaeramos said, you dont want to be smashing the gas everywhere with the wheels on it.
