should i get these wheels (suspicious)???

was on ebay and seen these wheels, so i sent the seller a message asking how much he would sell the rims for alone

he said 1650 shipped for 4 - 24" foose wheels..does this seem strange, these rims sell for over 3000 for just the rims all day dont they?

same thing happened when i emailed this guy asking about these 24s, he said 1600 shipped US. can this be too good to be true, should i move on these deals, i dont want to get burned.

Well, there are a couple of problems here. One, the pic is of a Nitrous 5 wheel which I believe does not come in a 24" (could be wrong) but have not seen it. However the Nitrous 6 does and for all I can tell they sell 699-850 ea. So I guess I would be afraid. If they are not knock offs then they must have some inperfections. That would be bad if it were an out of round thing. Thats MHO!

the 2nd link is a good seller as well. dang thats a good price! the price on 24"wheels n tires are going down, due to high demand. if you go to a car show, more LXs are riding on 24's.

I will only say one thing, and I shop ebay all the time...

I WILL NEVER EVER BUY SOMETHING IF THE DEAL SEAMS TOOOO GOOD. That means there is something up...

i understand the "too good to be true" saying and i stand behind that myself.

although there is one member on this forum "iwakenthenibake" who has said that he has bought from lbwheelsandtires and says hes a good guy.

anything else i should do to inquire about what could be wrong about these wheels to the seller?

Just use a credit card, do not use paypal funds... If you have paypal funds in there, then get the cash out of your card if you have one, or request cash.

Then use a credit card with them, so if ther is a issue you can tell the credit card company to forget it.

Paypal is not easy to deal with when you get scammed and furthermore they do not care in my opnion if you do...

I got scammed by a guy in Hong Kong, and strange enough on my own, I called the HK police and got most of my cash back from the guy. Paypal could care less...

alrite, thanks for the advice i will deffinetly use a credit card if i decide to go through with the transaction.

now, it is up to make a decision of which wheel to go with, thats going to be the difficult part
