2pc Asanti's Vs. 3pc Asanti's

Several wheel shops (4) told me the exact same thing...they said to get the 2pc wheels b/c there would be a chance of the 3pc wheel splitting down the middle (where the two sections of the rim meet) with a big horsepower car. Once all the kinks are ironed out I should have around 600-750. Might be upgrading to something a bit more wild (*426 with direct port nitrous* hint hint).

Are these guys right in suggesting the 2pc over the 3pc wheel for big horsepower?

Thanks for the response.

I ordered Asanti AF128 2pc wheels w/black center today...should get em in about 2-3 weeks.

22x9.5 in the front (the place i ordered from said that asanti may suggest that I get a 8.5-9 inch wide front rim, so we'll see)

22x10.5 in the rear.

they may leak (but never heard of them spliting), but if anything happens to, say the outer lip or inner barrel gets bent or craked, you can have them replaced without buying the whole 1 piece barrel itself.. 3pc wheels, you can fix whatever piece that's wrong, and plus you can run custom wilder offsets compared to a 2pc wheel. But there right, with that hp, go with a 2pc..

I would go with 9" in the Front max. That's what I have and it's plenty.

For the 10.5" rears, expect to roll the lip. I would do that before mounting the new tires on there otherwise they'll get sliced up a bit (trust me, I know). Find out what offset. You need AT LEAST +20. +25 would be even better.

I would suggest the 265-30-22, 285-30-22 Toyo Proxes 4. Even w/fender rolling my 295-35s rubs some. Plus, the 265-35s are taller than the 295s.

I would go with a 9.5 up front with 275/30 and 10.5 with 295/30. All day!

Thanks for the suggestions...I'm sure it'll end up being 9" in the front since asanti is pretty conservative about fitment.

It's not finalized yet...but i'll know tomorrow (well today actually ) what the final specs are gonna be.

up front was a +15 offset and +20 out back...it may change by tomorrow

tire sizes were
255/35/22
295/30/22

What do you guys think?

I'll see what asanti has to say tomorrow

If I understood you correctly, you are asking what size tire to get with a 9.5" front wheel and 10.5" rear wheel with a stock SRT suspension.

To be honest, i really don't know...

I am a novice when it comes to wheels and tires.

yep thats what i meant ... because some are just throwing numbers and they assure that they will fit perfectly and some attack that fitment and ppl inthe middle get lost

SO WHICH TIRE SIZE IS CORRECT ?
