correct offset for my wheels?

I have searched but have not really found a definate answer. Can someone tell me what exact offset I need to run so that my tire/wheel sits flush, or even a little inside the wheel well of my 300 Touring? I will be running 22x9.5 wheels with 265/35/22 Pirelli Tires. I do not want the tires to stick out at all past the wheel well. If anything I would rather they sit just a tiny bit inside the wheel well. What offset do I need with that wheel/tire combo? BTW, I am running stock suspension and do not plan on lowering it.

on 9.5" wide
+18mm will sit inside
+15mm is flush

If I get a +18mm offset I wont have any problems with a 265/35/22 tire rubbing right? Thanks for the info

can you guys give me your opinions on what offset looks better on the 300....+15mm or +18mm? Pictures would be nice too ; )

I have 3 piece wheels being custom made for my 300C for a perfect fit and for a lighter wheel. Unfortunately I wont have pictures till they come in. I went with the 18mm offset. In my opinion, 15MM looks bad b.c the wheels sit inside the fender. Makes the wheel look like it doesnt fit. again, jmo. I have read threads here that some people with the 18mm offset have their fenders rolled to eliminate rubbing. Some times not depending on the wheel and if the car is lowered.
When they come in, I will post pictures.

22x9 custom made 3 pc forged wheels here with a +16mm offset running 265/35r22's. No fender rolling here, no rubbing with the control arms, clears the stupid bolt, and sit's in the wheel well, nice and tucked dropped on Eibach's 2" sportlines..

Aspendog stated above that +15mm sits flush and +18mm sits inside. So I would assume that the higher the number, the more the wheel sits inside the fender? But you said +15mm sits inside and +18mm might need a fender roll, so according to your statement I would assume that the higher the number, the more the wheel sticks out of the fender (the opposite of what Aspendog says). Can someone pelase clarify for me? (sorry i dont know much about wheels!)

That is pretty much exactly how I want my wheels to sit, but the wheels I want only come in a 15mm offset. Will 1mm really make that much of a difference? Also, yours are 22x9 and mine will be 22x9.5, so what offset would I need in order to get the look you have?

i believe (someone correct me if im wrong )that the higher +offset(18mm) would bring the wheel closer inside the wheel well, while the lower+offset(+15mm) would bring it out (stick out). If your going to run a 22x9.5" rim, then your correct offset would be +18mm...

Ahh I see....thanks guys....I think I want the +18mm offset. Looks like I will need to find another wheel now that the one I wanted only comes in +15mm. Oh well.
