Cracked a wheel---need another one

I'm looking for an OEM wheel for my 2005 Limited. It's the Alluminum Alloy, 17X7, eight spoke model. Anybody out there have one they don't need?

Actually, it happened on I-95---but in Connecticut. We were on the way to Maine last week (new granddaughter) and I just hit something on the road. Whatever it was whacked the inside edge of the rim and bent and cracked it. Funny thing is that there wasn't any significant air loss until the next morning. It was clear, though, that it wasn't fixable and it wouldn't hold air. One last thing, the parts guys at Bodwell Chrysler in Brunswick, ME were great. They got me a steel wheel so wouldn't have to drive on the donut spare. The OEM wheel is on factory backorder.

cracked Limited wheel

Rob,
Same thing happened to me back in July. No used replacements were available in the used parts inventory anywhere in Ontario. Ended up ordering a new one from dealer. Took 3 days to get in from Chrysler's Montreal warehouse at $480 Cdn (ouch!).
My advice in this order:
1) See if an alloy wheel repair specialist can repair (dealer will probably say it can't be done)
2) check for a used wheel in your region
3) order one off ebay for ASAP delivery - there are a number of current auctions
4) order a new one from the dealer if you are prepared to part with the cash.
By the way, a wheel specialist straightened the wheel and repaired the crack and looks good as new. I'll soon buy 3 more off ebay for my snow tires.
Don

Congrat's on the New Granddaughter! There is a place in Jessup Md. that repairs wheels. I think the name of the place was Wheel Doctor or Rim Doctor. They repaired a bent a cracked wheel for me once a few years ago.

Thanks for your suggestion. I bid on that one and got it for $66.00, a lot less than the $300.00 the dealer wants for a wheel.
