Will a 235/60/18 fit on a SRT8 Charger?

I'm looking to see if a 235/60/18 will fit on my SRT8 charger for snow winter wheels. I havne't been able to find my answer anywhere.

And, if it will fit, will EVERY 235/60/18 fit? Are each manufacturer different? ie - different measurement tolerances...

Any help would be appreciated.

As long as you are putting on a rim that fits the lug pattern then there is no problem whatsoever of that tire size not fitting. Everything will be fine.

The tire diameter, based on a 255/45/20 OEM F1 are virtually identical at 29.1" for that size. The 18" is only 1mm taller.

Your wheel options are limited to these wheels as they must clear the Brembo brakes:
  • Borbet Type TS
  • ASA AR1 (very close fit)
  • ASA ST3

Yup, I have the AR1's. Really ghetto looking, but oh well. just for winter!

Thanks for the help guys!!!!! Why would everybody recommend 235/55/18's then? Why is everybody against the 235/60/18's?

And yeah, I have the wheels. Bolt pattern fits.

Thanks again!!

Are you running F1's or RSA's?

The 235/55/18's are:
23mm shorter than your rear 255's
13mm shorter than your front 245's.

What this means I have no idea, but it sure seems to me the 60's are closer, especially the rears. I would imagine whatever size you decide on you'd be doing the same size front and rear though.

Who is advising you to use the 55's?

Bernie

here's a question, is there a difference between overall wheel diameter on the front and rear?

I'm asking because I plan on goign with the same size tire all around for my snow setup 235/60/18... will that screw anything up if the front and rear are different overall diameters?

Dude, seriously thanks for running that sizing for me. I was just about to run outisde and freeze my butt off getting the stock sizes off my tires.

Well I'm stuck now. Discount Tire recommended a 60, Belle Tire recommended a 55... Hmmmmmmm.....

What are the potential problems if I run the same overall diameter all the way around?
