Exclamation Possible Safety Issues With Sevas S-10/11 Wheels

I came across a thread about Sevas S-10 wheels and some major safety concerns like cracked wheels so I thought I would post the information and llinks on here seeing how a few of our forum members own Sevas S-10 wheels.

And i'm in no way bashing Sevas, I'm just passing this information along to owners who might have not heard about this.

Thanks for the heads up guys. I fortunately have mine off at the moment (cleaning for the weekend meet) and was able to check them out. Thankfully not a mark to be found anywhere. Just to be safe though I emailed Sevas to find out what the go was and within 5 minutes I had a reply.

They are in testing at the moment and have been calling random clients. At present it seems to be an issue with the BMW745 wheels (but less than 1% of all sold). Once they have completed all their tests and checks they will be posting the results up on all forums/websites.

If there is a recall all customers will be notified. Fingers crossed all is good.

My biggest concern here is that I see no reply from 'Teamsevas' here!
You might think he has something to say about this or ...

I am so glad I have not bought any wheels yet.

I received a few emails from them, the most recent I received yesterday from Scott.

Here it is:

DANIEL,
YOU HAVE NOTHING TOO WORRY ABOUT, THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH A GUY WITH HIS 7 SERIES, AND WE JUST HAVING A BIG PROBLEM WITH HIM AND ALL THE BS, BUT YOU HAVE NOTHING TOO WORRY ABOUT THANK YOU SCOTT GIBSON.

Now I will give them the benefit of the doubt, mainly for 2 reasons. 1 there is absolutley no sign of wear on mine, secondly, with the testing they have just recently carried out to check out any possible fault, all has come back ok (passed) and thirdly the would be stupid to tell me otherwise as if something happened they would be liable as all hell. Either way I think it was just a customer that had a gripe with Sevas.

I have also been told that they will be making an announcement on all forums within the near future.
